We’re a husband-and-wife team from Los Angeles, California.
We’re all about designing spaces that you’ll love to live in. Our travels and love for design fuel our ideas, and we’ve got a soft spot for small, compact designs—like the clever layouts in Japanese houses.

Who We Are
Our paths crossed in Architecture school while we attended ELAC (East Los Angeles College). We went our separate ways in university and started our business in 2018.

Wei Sigala (Sofia)
I grew up in Honduras after my parents immigrated from China. After high school, I moved to California to pursue an Architecture degree.
Architecture didn’t come naturally to me. In fact, I hadn’t considered it as a career until my first semester in college when I tried a drafting class.
I’m naturally inclined to business and numbers. I love creating spreadsheets and tracking anything from profits to expenses. That’s why I manage our business, rentals, and Airbnbs.
During my free time, I like to write in my travel blog, read books in my Kindle, read travel and food magazines, and create vision boards.

Daniel Sigala
I’m born and raised in East Los Angeles and have been all over Los Angeles: first driving to find the best skate spots, and then as a deputy inspector for my dad’s business.
I’m very creative and passionate about good design, architecture, music, and photography. I’m definitely the visionary in our team and always wanted to be an architect.
I studied abroad in Asia in 2015 and it changed my life, so much so I made it my mission to live in Tokyo, Japan.
During my free time I like to travel and take photos (street photography), go to concerts, and enjoy good whiskey.
Our Mission
Our mission has always been to educate and provide good design and livable spaces.
I, Wei, worked for an affordable housing architecture firm for 3 years before founding our business. We started our business after buying, designing, and building our first triplex in 2018.
That was also the beginning of our real estate investing journey. Since then, we’ve purchased 3 properties (and sold 1) and do a mix of long-term rents, mid-term rentals, and Airbnb.
I love documenting all of this on our blog, where you’ll find useful articles about ADUs, home remodels, hosting on Airbnb, real estate investing, and design.
